What is MoSi2 Heating Element?

Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSi₂) heating elements are advanced high-temperature heaters widely used in industrial furnaces. Due to their exceptional oxidation resistance, high-temperature capability, and long service life, these elements are ideal for demanding heating applications. MoSi₂ elements operate efficiently at temperatures up to 1850°C, outperforming many conventional heating solutions.

Winner developed the MoSi2 heating element, a heating product using electric properties (differences in resistance). Its common temperature (>1500 or more) is much higher than that of a metal heating element at 1200oc or less and a SiC heating element at 1400oc or less. Since rapid heating is possible and operational, producing very high efficiency, it is appropriate for industrial furnaces, glass melting furnaces, incinerators, and experimental furnaces for R & D. Its power source is electricity, so it does not produce harmful gases, making it a worthy environment-friendly product.
